Weekend of Wins for Dobs

Dobwalls fans will be celebrating yet another tremendous weekend with both the first team and the reserve team winning.

Our South West Peninsula side had the long journey to Penryn to contend with. After the 3-2 defeat mid week, Westlake and Washam were looking for their boys to come back in style.

Unlike Wednesday night, all goals came in the first half against Penryn.

Dobwalls were taken by suprise and were one nil down within in 15 minutes. A a thunderous header from Dobs defender Jordan McCarthy gave us the equaliser on 32 minutes. Achieved due in part to great team work and a brilliant delivery from Spear.

Matt Thackery

The talismanic figure of Kelvin Fyneboys popped up with the winner on 38 mins when converting on the edge of the 18 yard box with a drive into the top corner.

An impressive display from Matt Thackeray in the Dobs defence saw him awarded the Man of the Match.
