For the first time in Dobwalls 100 year history a home game of football was played under floodlights.
Dobwalls, the minnows, faced a powerful Truro City side that ran rampant in the first half (but lost in the second half 😉 )
The entire game was played in the right spirit, to celebrate where Dobwalls have come from and now got to, by facing one of the biggest clubs in Cornwall.

The DFC boys spirit and determination that was on display was admirable and if carried on into the season bodes well for us as a club.

It must also be mentioned the generosity of spirit that the TCFC fans displayed whilst at Lantoom Park was brilliant and a reflection of how the entire evening was.

We wish the entirety of Truro City FC good luck for the forthcoming season, and look forward to welcoming you back to Lantoom Park

UP NEXT:

We now move on to next Tuesday under the floodlights to face yet another strong side in the form of Plymouth Parkway, another stern test of our boys character but one which we know they will rise to.
